Tom Joyce

From 2014 to 2020, Tom was President and Chief Executive Officer of Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR). With the help of Danaher’s 71,000 associates world-wide, he strengthened Danaher’s focus as a leading $20B science and technology company through the strategic acquisition of more than two dozen companies, and the spin-offs of Fortive and Envista into independent, publicly traded companies.
Since joining Danaher in 1989, Tom held progressive leadership roles in marketing, manufacturing and general management. Throughout his tenure, Tom has played a key role in developing and evolving the Danaher Business System, the corporation’s proprietary toolset for customer centric continuous improvement. A dedicated people leader, Tom has also spearheaded far-reaching efforts to align the company and culture around a shared purpose, and to build a deeply engaged workforce at all levels.
Before joining Danaher, Tom spent seven years in the manufacturing practice group at Andersen Consulting. He earned a B.S. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross, where he spent 8 years on the Board of Trustees. He is on the Board of Directors of Roper Technologies, Inc. and the $6B MedStar Health System overseeing 10 hospitals in the Baltimore/Washington region. Tom and his wife Claire live in Minocqua during the summer months and in Washington, D.C. and Vero Beach, Florida during the rest of the year.

Dick recently retired from his own executive search firm the Gustafson Group, specializing in healthcare provider executives search. Dick spent over 20 years at Heidrick & Struggles (global executive search firm) in the Chicago office where he served as Vice Chairman of the firm and Chairman, Global Health Care Practice. Before that he served as Managing Partner for the Health Care Practice. Dick successfully led major searches for CEO’s, CMO’s, CFO’s, COO’s, and Vice Chancellor and Deans of Medical Schools.

Judy graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a BSN in Nursing. She also attended the Parish Nurse Prep Program. Judy graduated from the University of Rochester, NY with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Community Health. She is a Certified Occupational Health Nurse, COHN-S. She has a nursing license in both Wisconsin and Illinois.

Carrie is a retired marketing executive who is devoted to community service. Carrie served as Vice President of Marketing for GE Consumer Finance and Director of Marketing for Chicago Tribune. In 2005, Carrie formed CJH Strategic Marketing, where she defined data-driven, customer-focused acquisition and retention strategies for clients including the Washington Post, Dallas Morning News and OSI Restaurant partners.

My wife Cheryl and I became year-round residents of Minocqua in 2006, after spending the past 25 plus years living in Wausau. We have two children, Andrea age 26 and John age 23. After working 30 years with Wausau Financial Systems, I have retired as of 12/31/11!

Mr. Nicklaus has been employed with River Valley Bank since 1998. Previous to joining River Valley, he was the Executive Vice President and Head of Sales at Dealers Credit, Inc. for ten years. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Norbert College.

Solberg Company, Inc., a diverse and healthy organization of over 1,000 associates that also operate Tula's Café in Minocqua, several fuel and convenience stores throughout northern and central Wisconsin, Trig's Central Bakery and Trucking Facility, Trig's Recycling Center, and the Tasmania Northwoods Resort.
