Aldo J. Madrigrano

Vice Chairman & Member of the HYF Board


Aldo J. Madrigrano is the CEO of Beer Capitol Distributing, Inc. and President of the Beer Capitol Investments both located in Sussex, Wisconsin.  

Aldo was born in Kenosha, Wis. and has lived in the Metro Milwaukee area since 1985.  He attended St. Joe’s High School and Carthage College.

He currently holds a position on the Metro Milwaukee Association of Commerce Board of Directors, the Greater Milwaukee Committee’s Diversity Committee, La Casa de Esperanza Foundation Board, the Wisconsin Restaurant Association Board and the National Italian American Golf Tourney for Charity Board.  Mr. Madrigrano is also the Vice Chair for the Wisconsin State Fair Board, the Chairman of the Legends Golf Club Board of Directors, the Chairman for the Center for Alcohol Policy in Washington, D.C., and the Chairman of the Crown National Advisory Council.

He has served as Chairman of the National Beer Wholesalers Association, Miller Coors Distributor Council, the Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce, the Eau Claire Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Waukesha Convention and Visitors Bureau, Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds and Aurora Medical Board.  Mr. Madrigrano has also served on the Board of Directors for M&I Bank. 

Aldo is proud to run the largest beer distributor in Wisconsin and the 22 largest distributor in the nation.  He is a six time winner of the Miller High Life Achievement Award and has been recognized as one of Milwaukee’s top “40 under Forty” professionals in business.  Aldo has won the Marquette University Family Business Award and was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2011.  In addition, Beer Capitol Distributing, Inc., under Aldo’s leadership, was named Top Business in Waukesha County by the Waukesha County Business Alliance.

Barry became a full time surgeon in Minocqua in the spring of 1972. In addition to his part time activities in the surgery department, Barry is currently chairman of the Walter Olson Medical Education Committee and Director of Medical Education at HYMC.

Dick Gustafson

Dick recently retired from his own executive search firm the Gustafson Group, specializing in healthcare provider executives search. Dick spent over 20 years at Heidrick & Struggles (global executive search firm) in the Chicago office where he served as Vice Chairman of the firm and Chairman, Global Health Care Practice. Before that he served as Managing Partner for the Health Care Practice. Dick successfully led major searches for CEO’s, CMO’s, CFO’s, COO’s, and Vice Chancellor and Deans of Medical Schools.

Judy Russell

Judy graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a BSN in Nursing. She also attended the Parish Nurse Prep Program. Judy graduated from the University of Rochester, NY with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Community Health. She is a Certified Occupational Health Nurse, COHN-S. She has a nursing license in both Wisconsin and Illinois.

Carrie Nichols Hoye

Carrie is a retired marketing executive who is devoted to community service. Carrie served as Vice President of Marketing for GE Consumer Finance and Director of Marketing for Chicago Tribune. In 2005, Carrie formed CJH Strategic Marketing, where she defined data-driven, customer-focused acquisition and retention strategies for clients including the Washington Post, Dallas Morning News and OSI Restaurant partners.

Mark Pitman

My wife Cheryl and I became year-round residents of Minocqua in 2006, after spending the past 25 plus years living in Wausau. We have two children, Andrea age 26 and John age 23. After working 30 years with Wausau Financial Systems, I have retired as of 12/31/11!

Greg Nicklaus

Mr. Nicklaus has been employed with River Valley Bank since 1998. Previous to joining River Valley, he was the Executive Vice President and Head of Sales at Dealers Credit, Inc. for ten years. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Norbert College.

Trygve A. Solberg

Trygve (Trig) graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Trig is one part of the larger T.A. Solberg Company, Inc., a diverse and healthy organization of over 1,000 associates that also operate Tula's Café in Minocqua, several fuel and convenience stores throughout northern and central Wisconsin, Trig's Central Bakery and Trucking Facility, Trig's Recycling Center, and the Tasmania Northwoods Resort.
